The Steadwork story
It all started when we were on the hunt for a quality office space for our own team. What we found were either poorly managed buildings or uninspiring layouts—rigid, linear spaces that didn’t reflect the kind of environment we wanted to work in.
So, we decided to rent a space and do the fit-out ourselves—the way we believed a workspace should be. A space where employees could feel relaxed, collaborate freely, and still have room to focus—while maintaining their privacy and confidentiality.
Soon, we thought—why not offer this space to other companies? The response was overwhelming. That moment sparked the beginning of Steadwork.
Today, we provide managed office space that is designed by us, managed by us, but lived in and customized by our clients. Businesses have their own private space—preserving their culture, branding, and team identity—while we handle everything else behind the scenes.
Our team
The people behind Steadwork
At the core of Steadwork are Lavanya Kumar and Shamshad Sheriff, who together lead the strategy, design, and execution of our managed workspaces.
Lavanya drives business development, client engagement, vendor management, and oversees end-to-end coordination across HVAC, MEP, and site operations—ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
Shamshad leads the spatial design and creative direction of every Steadwork space. She is responsible for layout planning, material selection, aesthetic detailing, and guiding the overall fit-out process to create spaces that are both functional and inspiring.
Together, they bring a strong blend of operational expertise and design sensibility, ensuring that every workspace reflects the needs, identity, and culture of the teams that inhabit it.
